There are many people in Birmingham passionate about reducing waste and recycling and re-using as much as possible.  The ones that are actively involved in recycling and reuse activities are listed on the Birmingham Recycling Network homepage: other people who support what we do but don’t actually take in waste for reuse or recycling are listed here:

    • The Jericho Foundation supports people to become fulfilled, skilled and employed.
    • Resource Futures exists to help others to use resources efficiently and effectively, minimising the impact of consumption on the environment now and for the future.
    • Soho First is a charitable trust in Soho aimed at improving the environment and residents lives.
    • Hob C-Span exists to inform people about sport and what you can do in your area and how to stay fit and healthy in Handsworth Wood, Perry Barr, Oscott, Lozells and East Handsworth.
    • Birmingham Transport is a next day courier service in Birmingham.
    • Better Points is an app and reward programme that rewards physical activity with High Street rewards or charity donations.
    • Faith Pearson is a Birmingham based artist who uses discarded materials to create images and constructions that reflect human existence and survival, both ancient and urban across the world.
    • The Glue Collective install and make allotment boxes using reclaimed wood.
    • Law Leisure and Learning are based in Handsworth with a mission: “To enable all people in our community to help themselves to realise their full potential for a higher quality of life”
